Hey, I’m Robin Bültel, a Director, Photographer and DOP from Germany. My journey into film and photography started with my passion for the automotive world. Over the years, I had the chance to work with brands like Dunlop Motorcycle or Hyundai, and I quickly realised what I enjoy most: movement. Speed, real moments and images that feel alive rather than static.

Alongside photography, I started directing music videos and became more and more interested in filmmaking. During my Film studies at FH Dortmund, I had the opportunity to develop that passion further and focus on cinematography and visual storytelling. I shot a variety of short films during that time, eventually leading to IKARUS, my directorial debut in narrative film.

Outside of filmmaking, I also learned a lot about creative direction and communication. As Creative Director and Head of Marketing for the Formula Student team at FH Dortmund, I helped shape the team’s visual identity and learned what it takes to turn ideas into something tangible.

Today, I work as a Director, DOP and Photographer on commercial and narrative projects , mainly within the automotive world, but not exclusively. I enjoy projects where it’s not just about making something look good, but about figuring out what makes an idea, a story or a moment worth showing.
